ONE CR Agents is a professional real estate management platform for Realty ONE Group Costa Rica agents. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information the app collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account and identity data: your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and the role assigned to you within your office.
  • Usage and analytics data: how you interact with the app, the pages and features you use, device and browser type, IP address, and diagnostic logs we use to keep the service reliable.
  • Device push tokens: when you enable notifications, we store the push token your device issues so we can deliver alerts. On iOS this is handled through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM); on Android and the web it is handled through Firebase Cloud Messaging and standard Web Push.
  • Chat messages: the content, timestamps, and read status of messages you send and receive through the in-app chat, including agent-to-agent conversations and agent-to-client conversations.
  • Lead and contact (CRM) data: information you enter about your prospects and clients, such as their name, contact details, notes, follow-up activity, and the status of each lead.
  • Listing media and content: photos, videos, documents, and property details you upload or create while building and managing your listings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the platform and your account.
  • Deliver push notifications you have opted into, such as new chat messages, lead activity, and reminders.
  • Power the in-app chat and your CRM so you can communicate with and manage your clients.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Analyze usage to fix problems, improve performance, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our users and the company.

3. Push Notifications

Push notifications are optional and require your explicit permission on your device. When enabled, your device push token is sent to our servers and, when needed, forwarded to Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) so the alert can reach your phone. We use notifications only for operational purposes related to your work as an agent — never for unsolicited advertising. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or within the app.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions, including:

  • Push delivery providers: Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), which receive a device token and the notification payload solely to deliver the alert to your device.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store data and run the platform on secure cloud servers on our behalf.
  • Authorities or third parties when required by law, regulation, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or audit obligations.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures — such as encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated sessions — to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or update your personal information from within the app. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. To exercise these rights, use the in-app settings or contact us using the details below.
